Self analysis and assessment

"Self analysis and assessments"

We know and understand ourselves better, but sometimes we also need to consider what others are saying about us - how we appear to others. How do you see yourself? How do others see you? It is time to put those pointers down on paper and do some self analysis, thus getting to know yourself better and see what trends and similarities appear. This will help you rectify the 'wrongs' and make optimal use of the good.

Time for a self analysis/assessment exercise

A self analysis/assessment exercise

It is time to list your strong points. On a piece of paper, write down your strengths. Begin with these phrases:

I like ......

I am good at ......

I am talented in ......

I love ......

I am quite tolerant of ......

People think my good points are .... (Ask friends, siblings, parents, colleagues etc.)

Weaknesses

I hate / dislike .....

I wish I were more/less.....

I would like to improve my ....

If I were to change one thing about myself it would be ....

If I had a chance to start allover again, I would (become) ....

People think my weaknesses are ....(Ask friends, siblings, parents, colleagues etc.)

Now analyse the results

What personality traits / descriptions appear more often in your analysis? In what ways can you improve your weak points or negative traits? In what ways can you make your strengths even better? Make a list and commit to do something towards your goal everyday.
